Once again, "Spetnaz"=Soviet special forces.
Also, I have it on good authority that "Bohdan" is pronounced with the first syllable rhyming with "mow" and the second pronounced like "don."

Oh noooo!

I just remembered that I actually know a Ukrainian guy called Bohdan, and I completely forgot. I think he spells it differently, though.

Ha, yeah. :P It's not that rare of a name -- this is a little like an American who set himself up as this liberator type getting nicknamed "George." (After Washington, not Bush, natch...)
