(FYI, Yana isn't crying in panel four -- whatever tear gas knockoff they're using irritates mucous membranes -- makes your eyes water and makes it hard to see. And the lack of air is getting to her more because she's low on food and blood.)

It's on!

If I may inquire, you use pen, marker, charcoal, and a pencil, correct?

This is such an awesome page! Having been gassed at demonstrations myself I know exactly how impossibleit can feel to eventake a breath. Yaroslav is awesome to be managing without so much as covering his face.

I think I have a crush on Yaroslav.

@Meed: I use black pens and grey markers of various shades, pencil, and white pastel (for stuff like the smoke blowing across Iaroslav's coat). On some pages I use white paint, for things like falling snow.
@Tantz Aerine: Wow! I'm glad I showed it realistically, then -- the closest thing I've ever had happen to me was getting a lungful or oil- or woodsmoke, or trying to breathe underwater through a length of pipe when the water pressure keeps your lungs from expanding...but I digress. (And yeah, Iaroslav's a machine. That's his job. :P )
@Lazdo: You wouldn't be the only one. :P

This is a great page. I really got a sense of movement and hurry from it, that was very well done!
