(To clarify, if needed: Iaroslav's checking if anyone was hiding under the stairs or the landing before he let them go down.)

Also, I drew Iaroslav in 1969, during his first war (a border dispute with China). He would have been 19 -- a year after he joined up.

I love both the tension and suspense in this scene and the portrait you've made of iaroslav. I think I may be feeling like some fanart myself ;)

Heh, Iaroslav's really fun to draw, especially that cocky pose from he was when he was younger. (Now that would be pretty cool, if you feel like it. :D )
