Sorry, this was a time-consuming page...and, oh, look! The Exposition Fairy has come and left text boxes for all the good little boys and girls! Don't worry, I'll be back to real story soon.
And no, even though Yana's outside the panels, she's not going to start talking to the "little grey boxes", Deadpool-style. :P
So, this is the ruins of a Soviet-era train station. The rich and powerful of the USSR spent a lot of time in the Crimea, because it's beautiful and warm and has beaches, and so there are a lot of ornate buildings there. Some (many?) of them have fallen into ruin along with the Soviet Union itself. (I have to admit I referenced that first panel from a place in Georgia -- the country, not the US state -- but it's the kind of thing you'd see in the Crimea.)

(And the reason a Ukrainian would probably find starvation too close to home.)

Excellent perspective!

And really, I can't get enough of the cheeky grin Iaroslav has. :D

Wow - this is great in so many ways. The first panel is very atmospheric and beautiful, and set up of the others is really nice. - Love Iaroslav's different expressions!
