A lot of grey markers, but India ink washes and some pencil too. (This time I did a minor touchup job with the "New Simple Water" brush from Corel Painter too.)

Tantz here again. That first panel RULES. Now I want to make a sketch like that with my characters too.

Dude, you should search a publisher to put this together in graphic novel books (the only problem would be the length of this story. I'm in almost the 300th page and still far from the current page.). Maybe a Belgian publisher? I heard they dig historical comic books.

You're too kind! I do think of SCW as a very webby(?) webcomic, in that I can make it as stupid long as I want (although it's maybe 2/3 done at this point), throw in polsci digressions and scenery porn when I get nerd-sniped, and not have to worry overly much about the quality of the drawing at the start vs. now, ink with different pens, and generally fool around.

I am working on a way shorter less rambly one that I'd like to see on thinly sliced dead trees one of these days, and it IS historical and kinda Franco-Belgian style, so something to keep in mind...

I think you should try a publisher :)
