Tantz drew me an awesome picture of Chekhov and Slava in the mid-70s.

Edited to add: Hi, new people! Just for the record, you don't have to be a member of the hosting site or anything to comment. Enjoy the comic!

Excellent drawing of the tank there! And I love the tension that is building.

I don't think of myself as being the "fiddly mechanical stuff" type, but it was surprisingly interesting to draw. :)

Thank you so much for drawing this! I love when an update comes out. I even cited it for a history class project about history in media(Clinton).

Ha, seriously? I'd love to hear about your take on it for your class, if you've got time.

I talked about how Clinton was viewed differently, and about his public speaking. I'm in AP US History, so it had to be very US-centric.
Um, I procrastinated, so this is the exact 'paragraph' on it "It is a comic that, in this strip, explains the possible influence of Clinton on Ukraine. The rest of the comic occasionally references the USA. It is an appropriate and moderate representation that shows a perspective on the end of the Cold War."

So they have the tanks but do they have the strategy? I'm hardly a specialist in military tactics but it seems like tank warfare is where even regular armies often get it wrong.

(sorry about the recent lack of commenting, just returned from a three-week trip in Central Europe / British Isles which included a visit to the super-awesome Belgian Comic Strip Center!)

We shall see! Anastasia has enough sense to know they can't go pretending they're invincible now, and they DO have experienced tank guys with them. But you know, Murphy's Law and all that.

That sounds fantastic! And Belgian/French comics are the best.
